Beautiful property in quiet neighborhood

The house is beautiful! Comfortable furniture. The location is in a convenient yet quiet neighborhood with a small grocery/convenience/off license store within a 5 minute walk, a few restaurants/pubs are within a 10 minute walk, and the subway station is within a 15-20 minute walk (I'm a slow walker). Absolutely recommend this property.

Liked less: A laundry washing machine is available, but I don't believe it is a washer/dryer combination as clothes did not dry. There is a small clothes tree available to use to dry your clothing, but an actual dryer would have been lovely to have.

There is a saying "A man's home is his castle." From the moment we stepped through the doors, it truly felt like our own private sanctuary.The property is wonderfully spacious and remarkably well-furnished with very good equipment and facilities. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered—from the premium, comfortable bedding to the kitchen appliances and modern entertainment setups. It is incredibly easy to imagine spending many days there with family members to relax and enjoy each other's company without ever needing to step outside. This home away from home provides everything you could possibly ask for. It is an absolute gem, and we cannot wait to return for a longer stay next time!

Liked less: Nothing really. We happend to stay there over the weekend, so it was free for us to park in the area. That made our travel plan and schedule very flexibile. If you are staging in this place on weekdays, I am not in a position to comment on its accessibility. But as I said above, you can stay there for days to enjoy yourselves without going to see the tourist "hot" spots.

We had a lovely stay which felt very homely. The house is a 20-minute walk to the closest Tube station which was fairly convenient. It’s less than 10-minute walk to Lloyd Park which had a wonderful Saturday morning market (great vegan bakery stall). The kitchen is really well equipped and spacious. The kitchen/diner and into the living room made it a lovely space to cook, eat and catch up with family at the same time. Older adults found the downstairs wetroom floor slippy and the upstairs bath slippy to stand in for a shower - just a consideration if you aren’t very stable standing.

The property was beautiful and clean! The home owners were so polite and quick in responding back to my messages. I loved the natural lighting while cooking in the home. The AC was great upstairs where we all slept, and the backyard was beautiful. We met some super friendly and helpful folks. The diversity of communities around us were great and very helpful/welcoming. I enjoyed cooking for my boys in the home and the jacuzzi tub is a life saver from walking all day in town!! Thank you for such a great opportunity and experience!

Liked less: We ran out of tissue towards the end of the stay, and there was no lighting on the back porch to eat outside at dinner time. If you are walking from Blackhorse or St James train station, it’s no stroll, so if you have a lot of luggage, be prepared for the walk and some rough patches pulling your suitcase, or just use the bus transportation.

We stayed at this house for 9 days. It was a great stay. It is a beautiful home, with lots of amenities and it was very easy to get in touch with the hosts and receive quick feedback. We would definitely recommend the house.
