We Did It Again! Superhost Status for the Third Time in a Row 🎉
We’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve been awarded Superhost status for the third consecutive time! 🏆 This recognition from Airbnb is more than just a badge—it's a testament to the care, attention, and professionalism we pour into every guest stay.
As property managers, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what it really takes to be a Superhost and the challenges that come with maintaining this high standard.
What Makes a Property Manager a Superhost?
It’s not luck. It’s consistency, detail, and an unrelenting focus on guest experience. Here are some of the key ingredients that have helped us become—and stay—Superhosts:
1. Outstanding & Personal Customer Communication
We respond quickly, communicate clearly, and go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. Whether it’s a pre-arrival message or a late-night question, we believe responsiveness builds trust.
2. A Thoughtful Welcome Pack & Clear Instructions
Every guest receives a well-designed welcome pack, complete with local tips, house rules, and easy-to-follow instructions for appliances. When guests feel informed, they relax—and that’s what we aim for.
3. Immaculate Cleanliness & Frequent Inspections
Cleanliness isn’t negotiable. We perform regular inspections and ensure that each property meets the highest hygiene standards, every single time.
4. A Reliable Maintenance Person on Call
Things can go wrong—but how we respond is what matters. Having a trusted maintenance contact available at short notice has helped us address issues swiftly, often before guests even notice.
5. Well-Equipped Homes That Feel Like Home
We pay attention to details. If a guest mentions something is missing—a coffee grinder, more hangers, or extra blankets—we don’t just note it, we act on it. Comfort is in the little things.
But It’s Not Always Smooth Sailing…
Behind the Superhost badge is a lot of hard work and some very real challenges. Here's a look at a few:
1. Maintenance Issues During Full Bookings
When you're fully booked, even minor maintenance tasks can become complex logistical puzzles. Coordinating access and repairs without disrupting the guest experience requires planning and agility.
2. Demanding Guests
Every so often, a guest will ask for something that’s not part of the usual offer—a private chef, a last-minute crib, or extra guests at a dinner party. Managing expectations without compromising quality is key.
3. Cleaning Staff Stability
Turnovers in cleaning staff can lead to inconsistencies. Frequent re-training is necessary to uphold our standards, and while it's time-consuming, it's absolutely essential.
4. Stock Control
Keeping track of consumables like toiletries, cleaning products, and welcome treats adds an extra layer of coordination. It’s not a major challenge, but it’s one that can’t be ignored if we want to keep standards high.
Final Thoughts
Being a Superhost isn’t about perfection—it’s about care, consistency, and always striving to do better. We’re grateful to our team, our guests, and our community for helping us achieve this milestone once again. Here’s to more five-star stays, happy guests, and memorable experiences. ✨
